Description

Tiny Parham was a pianist and director of a group of Chicago-based musicians who made jazz recordings for Victor in the late 1920s.  Born in Winnipeg, Hartzell Stratdene Parham grew up in Kansas City and later moved to Chicago.  Except for a couple of Decca sides done in 1940, his recording career ended in 1930.   "Subway Sobs" and "Blue Island Blues" were waxed February 2, 1929.   SOL -- and it's a good one!  Condition E
