I have 18 different record sets of some of the most well-known composers with some of their most notable works being performed by some of the most famous conductors/orchestras of their day! (phew..!)
All of the records are produced by the RCA/Victor label, and are part of the "Victor Musical Masterpieces" series. All are 78rpm speed, and contain several records each to make up the complete work. The earliest is from 1935, the most recent from 1949, with the others falling in between.
A snapshot of composers: Beethoven (3), Mozart (3), Tschaikowsky (5), and one each of Brahms, Rimsky-Korsakow, Schubert, Moussorgsky, Dvorák, Mendelssohn, and Dukas.
**I have itemized each work I have along with all info I've been able to find about them and compiled it into a spreadsheet, which I have uploaded as a photo here (second photo). Please refer to that for list of works, info, and pricing. The records themselves are 99% in pristine condition. The outer casings show wear and age, however. This is noted in the "Condition" column of the spreadsheet.
Most of the works have inserts as well that tell you all about the piece, but a couple are missing (see spreadsheet).
I can only upload so many photos unfortunately - if you would like a complete set of photos, don't hesitate to ask (or if you'd like photos of a specific one).
Right now added up individually comes out (conveniently) to $399 - but selling the complete set of 18 for an even $300.
