(Philips 6303 019 UK LP 1971)
This is a UK original Promo LP pressing. It also has a custom sleeve design. It has a PVC outer sleeve. The sleeve consists of a front & back card insert. Therefore, the front & back sleeve are separate card inserts, instead of being attached together. It comes with its original polythene lined company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has 1st press 1Y#-3/ 2Y#-3 matrix stampers. It has plain white labels. Side 1's label has handwritten details, done by a "Philips" employee at the time, of both sides track titles and catalogue number. Side 2's label is still blank.
Sleeve: The two card inserts are in Excellent condition, as is the PVC outer sleeve. Overall, EX condition
Vinyl: Because this album has been kept in an outer PVC sleeve, the original polythene inner sleeve has reacted with the vinyl & has left some mild or moderate poly marks on both sides of the vinyl. These do not affect playback. Otherwise, just some light sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light. VG+ condition. The labels are in excellent+ condition & show minimal spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some light or mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall & Excellent in some places. There is some light or very mild crackle in some quieter places.
