Description
This auction is for a copy of the rare and much sought after 7" EP "Hot Rod Gang" by Gene Vincent.
This is an example of the first UK pressing released in 1958 on the Capitol label EAP 1-985.
The Label is in VG+ condition, clean and clear with no damage. The cover is in VG condition. The front has some ring wear and wear to the edges and corners but nothing major. There is obvious ring wear on the reverse, a little soiling, some laminate peeling and a 1" long black felt tip mark top centre. The record surface generally has light marks only. However, there is some damage to the first track on side 2 (Lovely Loretta) which causes several "skips" during the first half of playback. The remaining tracks play extremely well.
Tracks are Dance In The Street, Baby Blue, Lovely Loretta and Dance To The Bop. The bid price takes condition into account for this very collectable record.
All records sold on this site comprise the seller's personal collection accumulated over many years. It has become necessary to find new homes for the collection due to downsizing.
