Description

I have been asked to clear a large volume of Records, tapes, promos and other Rock items from the deceased estate of a manager at Warner Inc.
This gentleman worked for NME magazine and IPC Media throughout the 70s to the time he died a few years ago. These companies come under the umbrella of Time Warner.
I am not quite sure of his role but he does have gold discs with his name on and seems to have promos for a lot of 80s cds, records etc.
The one here is an original recording by Paul Weller for "The Style Council" in 1985. I have checked on the internet and everything checks out for the location of the recording to the label etc.
Details are as follows:
Client: Polydor Band:  Style Council Solid Bond Studios (now closed) Title:  Walls Come Tumblin Down (Live) Copyright: EMI Music Ltd
Recording Details
15LPS, NAB, Stereo, Ref Tones at Head.
Other info see pics.

I don't have a reel to reel player so cannot listen but it seems rather long for one song. It has been suggested to me that this may be a recording for more than one song and may have conversations or takes etc.
As i said before, this chap seems to have been responsible for a few bands in the 80s and i have other reels.  I would suspect that this is the recording for that track.
If you would like to own a piece of Rock and Pop history  this is your chance.
I can give the winning bidder the name of the exec but have not listed here to keep things sensitive.
Give me a shout if you need to know anything else.
