Description

Hi

Bought this in Tower Records London in 1979 as rare import, loved U2 or U-2...

Anyway it's in good condition but as with age has a few marks but no scratches and plays without jumping. Have recorded it to ION EZ vinyl so could send by email if requested

I checked on Discorgs and this is the detail

U2 ?– Three

Label:

CBS ?– CBS 12-7951

Format:

Vinyl, 12", 45 RPM, Single, Limited Edition, Numbered

Country:

Ireland

Released:

Dec 1979

Genre:

Rock

Style:

Alternative Rock, Pop Rock

Tracklist

A Out Of Control 3:50

B1 Stories For Boys 2:39

B2 Boy/Girl 3:21

Credits

Bass – Adam Clayton

Drums – Larry Mullen

Guitar, Backing Vocals – The Edge

Producer – Chas de Whalley, U2

Vocals – Bono

Written-By – U-2*

All reissues were re-released without sticker and with Ireland misspelled (Irelnad) on CBS sunburst label:

U-2* - Three - Early reissue in CBS sleeve. Band members names inscribed on both sides and “Made in England” on label bottom.

This is what I believe this to be first re-issue as all above correct and inscribed on both sides is band names plus other things as below

Out of Control side 1 has inscribed: CBS.U2.3 A-1 and then a stick figure man and then band member names, Bono, Adam, The Edge, Larry, also Bang!

On the second side, tracks Stories for boys and Boy/Girl. Inscribed CBS U2.3 B-1, then BANG, Bono, Adam, The Edge, Larry.

If anybody knows this to not be correct please let me know

Thanks for looking

Happy Bidding
