My hobby is record collecting and I occasionally sell records from my own collection.
DESCRIPTION
Artist: Small World
Record Format: 7" '45'
Record Title: Love is dead/ Liberty
Record Label & Number: WHAAM 3
Year of Release: 1982
Country of Release: UK release but French made.
Record Visual Quality: With many paper scuffs the 'A' side is rated as VG- and the 'B' as VG. The record has a barely visible minute warp but still plays on the Hi Fi with no effect.
Record Audio Quality: The 'A' side is EXCELLENT with no clicks or jumps, very minimal crackle and just the odd pop. The 'B' side is VG+ having 3 very faint clicks within and a few more as the record ends. : All my records are machine cleaned and fully played/ checked to ensure the quality declared.
Sleeve Quality: This Brand Sleeve is VG.
COMMENTS
So, here is a very interesting rare record from Small World and it is particularly interesting in that it 'books' at £100 in the Rare Record Price Guide! This is not a single in excellent condition, as you can see above, but if you want it here it is. I shall add it to my Juke box if there is no interest. Love Is dead has a big sound, strong on guitar and drums with a multi vocal lead, reminiscent to me of Eddie & the Hotrods or even Dr. Feelgood. Liberty is a bouncy piece of rock and a strong song a little like XTC but with a catchy chorus very similar to George Harrison's What is Life.
