Up for Auction is this very rare double vinyl LP by Prince:
Strange Tales from the Rain PS255
This exclusive Warner Japanese 25-track promotional only double vinyl LP was issued to radio and industry in 1984 to promote the movie Purple Rain. This rare pressing contains the ENTIRE movie soundtrack and not just the Prince tracks that were on the commercial soundtrack. Japanese vinyl releases are premium quality pressings. This is a real must for any Prince fan. It is very are and does not come up on ebay very often. There are only a handful of copies (less than 100). The double vinyl LP is a beautiful package in a unique custom gatefold picture sleeve with Purple Rain movie information, notes & discography inside gatefold
Condition: Very good for its age, the sleeve has slight ringwear marks on front (see photo) and a small amount of damage on one corner (1/2 cm corner wear), and the vinyl is Ex.
I am a Prince collector myself and promise this is a great item. I am only selling as I have one copy myself.
