Description

HMV ALP 1882 2 One Sided Test Pressings  Moxart - Symphonies Nos 36 LINZ                                                    38 PRAGUE Rafael Kubelik / Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra 2 XVH 9011 - 1N    2 XVH 9012 - 1N
This is a rare HMV recording especially as 2 single sided test pressings making this the earliest possible pressing.  Record 1.  2XVH 9011 - 1N  LINZ Grades VG+   Looks excellent and plays almost excellent but is let down slightly by a few light ticks near the end of the record. Otherwise minimal surface noise and only a very occasional soft pop.                                Record 2.  2XVH 9012 - 1N  PRAGUE           Grades EX   Looks and sounds excellent with very little if anything to spoil playback. Sleeve has some light general wear and aging. Original EMI inner has the date 18/7/61 written on and the matrix number.
