ASTRAL DREAM RECORDS

We are a well established web records shop since 1995 specialised in original vinyl lps from sixties and seventies with special care for UK and worldwide progressive music. We  assure a professional and competent service with more than 35 years of experience in the record collecting market. Be confident on our service! Please come in our site clicking the above link, you're Welcome!

PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IN THESE EBAY AUCTIONS I USE A STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING SYSTEM THAT CAN'T DISAPPOINT ANYONE BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT ,FOR EXAMPLE,  A VG+ COVER OR A VG+ VINYL  IT'S EQUIVALENT TO "BAD CONDITIONS" BUT SIMPLY THAT MY GRADE IT'S STRICT AND PROBABLY EQUIVALENT TO AN EX OF SOMEONE ELSE WITH  NOT A SO STRICT GRADE. I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.

Record Collector Magazine Grading System MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

graded VG+/EX- for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system

label: the classic orange label SF 7941 it's in perfect conditions and there's not visible spindle marks around the center hole so EX. This is a slightly second press because the original press on black label has been pressed one months back in 1967 but this is ABSOLUTELLY very sought after and very rare too.
cover: the cover it's VG+ because does have a minor lamination lift along the spine and in the right upper corner that it's slightly bent, a trace of partial ring on the front and back...nothing else that well worth to be mentioned.
vinyl: the vinyl  does not have marks or scuffs that I can see so would be Ex but I prefere to grade it EX- to be more cautious.
review: This is a classic of his era, music it's a very good melodic fresh beat psych with Graham Bell on Vocal (then Bell & Arc) , Mick Gallagher (then on Clash too!) on organ and the really excellent contribution of the Guitarist John Tunbull.. bassist it's Colin Gibson  and the drummer Tommy Jackman...the group spit in November 1968 and in early 1969 they become Heavy Jelly and then after some months split. This album with the very rare Heavy Jelly lp it's  an unique opportunity to hear his fresh  and psych sound. On the back cover there are the the notes of John  Peel that invited several times the group in his program. Many of the credits on the erlier black label press are wrong and the mono pressings had stereo label and vice-versa  so RCA label re cut this press one month later with a much proper sound so one of these copies it's here on offer for you... don't miss!
