I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.

Record Collector Magazine Grading System MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.


graded EX-/VG+ for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system

label: the original british pressed  Island Pink label ILPS 9135  3U/3U does not have defects if not some spindle marks around the center hole that denote several playing so VG+.This is absolutelly one of the hard to find PINK Island lp always missed in any collection and this is because it's the last Pink Island lp and the previos Pink Island lp it's the first Emerson Lake & Palmer lp with the number ILPS 9132. The two lps  between, John & Beverley Martyn/The Road To Ruin with ILPS 9133 and Nick Drake/Bryter Layter with ILPS 9134 were been at 100% pressed in UK with the pink rimmed white palm label. This is because any records catalogue number it's done priorly than the true records printing sequence so it's very common, also in other labels that a slightly later number in the catalogue it's pressed before another one, for many reasons but this time maybe for a choice in the promotion of the artist...anyway this is the LAST Pink label lp and after 2 pink rimmed lps so very very rare and much more than you think, believe me.
cover: the cover it's gatefold and laminated outside and heavilly rough textured inside. It's very nicelly preserved so I grade it EX- that it's close to my top grade in these ebay auctions where I never grade M or M-.
Vinyl: the vinyl look absolutelly well without marks but the spindle marks I have see around the hole make me very cautious so I prefere play totally this lp and the conclusion of my test it's that this lp has been played but absolutelly well played so the sound it's clear and sharp and the listening absolutelly satisfactory with the minimal crackles listenables for seconds and never annoying so I grade this vinyl with a super VG++.
review: This is the beautiful fourth album of this legendary british songwriter made just after his two Deram lps and and "Mona Bona Jakon" on the same label and just before of "Teaser And Firecat". This is musically an absolute masterpiece with some of his memorable songs like"Faher & Son" or "Wold World". This is the original first british pressing with the PINK Island label and it's probably the hard to find Pink Label lp so simply...don't miss!!!
