This is a great vintage original, authentic, First Pressing of the Ultra Rare 1959 Mono Vinyl Record DEE CLARK SELF TITLED LP WAS THE VERY RECORD RELEASED BY ABNER RECORDS—IT IS LP 2000 WITH THE ORIGINAL MAROON/RED LABEL—SUBSEQUENT RELEASES HAD THE BLACK LABEL. ABNER Records was a VEE-JAY subsidiary. Its name came from VEE-JAY's president at the time, Ewart Abner. ABNER released only three albums. This is a DEEP GROOVE PRESSING WITH A NICE LUSTER. As you can see from the images of the actual record you are bidding on the record, is in VG to VG+ condition using the Goldmine standard. The matrix number in the trail-off dead wax ends with a ‘-1’ and is machine stamped. The original cover is thick cardboard and in excellent condition with some minor creasing and a mark on the front, some wearing and a 4 inch split on the top seam, a bent corner on the bottom right, and a name and number on the back along with a slight price in pencil.
