The Beatles~ Super Rare White Label Promo (Blue logo and lettering) 

VEE JAY RECORDS VJ 587

RELEASED 1964

WITH 1ST PRESS MATRIX IN DEADWAX


Please see details below before making purchase.  


The "A" side "Do You Want To Know A Secret" is basically unplayable. There is a chemical type stain that causes several skips. (see last pic for closeup)

However,

The "B" side "Thank You Girl" is beautiful.  Hi gloss.  Grades visually between Strong VG++ and NM- and plays strong and clean.  I happen to prefer the B side (Thank You Girl) over the A but we all know the A side was more popular and played to death on the radio.    


All in all, if you don't have this promo in your collection (and it is very hard to find) and /or you are a fan of "Thank You Girl", this is a fine buy.   


If you need a good copy of "Do You Want To Know A Secret", I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.   


There also is a tiny chip on the outermost edge of the record (not in the record playing grooves) so it has no affect on play whatsoever. (see next to last pic for closeup)
