Hello! Up for consideration is a VERVE recording (V6-5008) from Andy Warhol's party favorites, heavily influencing the likes of Sonic Youth and all "Tomorrows Parties". THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO, produced by Andy Warhol. With the sheering jangles of Venus In Furs, the mind bending Heroin, and rumbling distortion of any track within; this classic alternative act out of the 60's were at the forefront of avante garde art rock. Unimitable and truely sensational; this recording is a must for any collection! The actual wax is very sharp, with only slight surface flaws that will not hinder the audio bombast for your brain! The sleeve is very solid, with no seam seperation; just expected edge/corner rubbing and blunting that would be expected from an album that saw numerous parties. The Andy Warhol "banana" sticker is still firmly attached; slightly "peeling"at the tip. The wax litho has a sticker name tag on each side. We do not guarantee exact grade or playability, where audio expectations fluctuate as much as the quality of playing equipment. We do know that this record will not disappoint. We simply want to avoid the uptight.
