Vernon Garrett

"Going to my Baby's Place" LP

This is an original copy of California-based soul singer Vernon Garrett's great debut album. Released in 1975 on Grenade Records (SPGR-202/STEREO), this record is long out of print and extremely hard to find. Features some great funk/blues guitar playing along with some nice Rhodes work. This copy is a D.J. issue, with a stamp on the back cover that reads "For D.J. Copy."

CONDITION -
Jacket: Very Good-; scuffing/ringwear on front and back, wear along spines, 3" split in right edge of bottom spine, top spine appears to have split and is held together with scotch tape (running along entire top spine), small yellow stain in center of back, 3 red ink lines in top center of back
Vinyl: G- with a lot of light surface scratches as well as some heavy scuffing. Most serious is a scratch that you can feel that goes thru the last part of the 3rd track on Side 2 and all the way thru the 4th track. On playback this scratch does not cause any skipping but there is an audible click. TRACKS - SEE PICS BELOW
