For sale is a 3 LP Box set of Giuseppe Verdi's Aida, originally released in 1962 on London Records, a FFrr (Full Frequency Range Recording) recording along with a 28 page libretto and a small booklet of London Record's listing of Operas. I bought this box set used and put it away into a record storage box where it was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity. The cover is graded as Excellent becuase of a little color loss from scuffing along the edges. The spine is Near Mint with gold lettering thate still vivid and shiny. The inserts are all in a Near Mint condition. The records are visually graded as Near Mint, as are their original inner sleeves. In the dead wax, between the labels and the last tracks, are the matrix numbers 4-G/3-G/4-G/2-G/3-G/2-G, indicating that early stampers were used to press these records. This is still one of the best copies of this record that I have ever seen and you would be hard pressed to find a copy like this one. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
