The Velvet Underground & Nico

The Velvet Underground & Nico - LP - Mono - *Torso Cover (see notes below)

Verve (V6-5008) - U.S. - 1967

Vinyl condition: G+: lots of heavy surface scuff/scratch marks - plays through with moderate/heavy surface noise - no skips or jumps

Cover condition: VG-: small piece of the top of the banana has been removed/torn off/peeled off (see photos) - nice gatefold - no rips or tears - lots of surface marks/wear

Additional notes:

There are three variations of the cover for this, all with peelable banana on front.
This is the first version with an image of journalist Emerson superimposed on Lou Reed's face on the backcover. This is known as the ''torso'' version. The second version has a sticker blotting this out. The third version has it airbrushed away.
Also released in mono (# V-5008).
