Description

Velvet Underground & Nico s/t LP - Verve V6-5008. Nice Banana-intact copy of the very rare 2nd "Torso Sticker" version (back cover has a large sticker superimposed over the image of Eric Emerson, which was airbrushed out on the later pressings). It seems to me that this could be the rarest of the 3 cover versions... RECORD - VG+ (several light hairlines on each side & audible crackle during some quieter moments, but nice overall to be sure. Labels each have some spindle marks), GATEFOLD COVER - VG+ (STILL HAS BANANA STICKER! However, it has been peeld about 3" down & then re-applied, crumpling it a bit. Rest of cover has moderate shelf wear, but no splits, tears or writing. Nice.) ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE - EX (1" split on bottom. LP will receive new sleeve for shipping.) Records are shipped in sturdy cardboard mailers &, unless sealed, with the LP removed from the sleeve to prevent seam-splits in transit. NOTE: cost of shipping insurance will be determined at auction's end & added to the shipping cost, per buyer's request.
