Description

Up for auction is a rare original copy of the Velvet Underground "Andy Warhol" LP. This is from 1967 on Verve Records cat # V6-5008. Banana is partially peeled (see pic). Back cover has the original sticker used on LP's to cover picture on copies which were released and could not be recalled before picture was airbrushed on leter release. Album is in great shape with minor surface mark(s) on side 1. Plays great.  Has original dust sleeve. Spine and inner gatefold in excellent shape. Jacket in great shape with very minor wear (see pic). This is a must have for any Velvet fan's collection. I'm easy to work with so please contact me with any questions. To all: I have had many requests about this LP. I want to be as clear as I can. I listed plays great -which is subjective -there is minor crackle and pop but nothing that distorts the music. That is my opinion of plays great. And I don't have a great turntable. Also as listed does have some surface marks. Hope that makes your decision to bid easier. Thanks
