Description
On the Vee-Jay Record label from 1964, this is the very rare "Jolly What! The Beatles & Frank Ifield On Stage" actually recorded in '63! When I play tested this lp, it was just like I was there in England at one of their very cool early 1960's variety shows! Loved it! In super condition, there are 12 (!) songs in all! And, as you can see in my second picture, this Cover has the rare mistake printed in the liner notes: "It is with a good deal of pride and pleasure that this copulation has been presented" --- sexual "copulation" should have definitely been a Vinyl "compilation." This Beatles album auction's "Rainbow" Vee Jay label (please see my pictures of them) or just the "black and silver" one. This auction's Rainbow label was definitely before the later pressings basic black and silver ones. Please see all my pictures of the clean Cover and Vinyl before bidding, "Thank You Girl" or Boy!
Cover: Excellent (still strong and sturdy and very clean (please check out the back picture with it being so nice and white with the liner notes as a perfect example, thanks!) Has some fraying and a 1/2" corner bump on the lower left, please see my picture)
Vinyl: Strong VG+ (I really think what light paper scruffs, not scratches, this Vinyl "does" have, were caused by the Innersleeve. I have played tested it on my two turntables, and it sounds great on both of them!)
Earlier pressing "Rainbow" Labels: Excellent (there are hardly any spindle hole marks at all, but I felt I should "only" grade these labels as "Excellent" because (just on the second side) in the outer edge, it has a nine letter name written no more than 4 or 5 millimeters high with a ball point pen on the very outer edge of the label, not in the middle area at all. I can try to take an up close picture if this is important to bidders, just let me know, Thank You!)
