Description
This is a great selection of UK recordings on the Pye / Piccadilly labels all dating to the mid - 1960's, They represent that period sound in 'Swinging England' just pre 'Revolver' by some interesting artists. There are five releases and a one sided Emidisc which has been included. All vinyl is in very good condition with the odd playwear, (noted below) in company sleeves which are good but a little creased in places.
7N.35329 - Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band - Hi! Hi! Hazel / Beach Bash - Piccadilly Promotion Copy on white label dated 15 JUL 1966 There are a few light marks on A' side and more on B' side (picture shows B' side) 7N.35330 - The Bystanders - (You're Gonna) Hurt Yourself / Have I Offended the Girl - Piccadilly Pink label with pen marked 'A' and dated 22 JUL 1966 - a little light playwear but VG. 7N.35333 - The Factotums - Here Today / In My Room on Piccadilly 1966 - as above VG 7N.17145 - The Chevlons - Too Long Alone / It's My Problem - on Pye 1966 - as above VG 7N.15918 - John Summers - Looking In Windows / Don't Fool Yourself - on Pye 1965 some light playwear sounds occasionally on both sides but Good.
As we have a John Summers release with this lot we have included an one-sided Emidisc by him of, as far as we can work out, an unreleased track 'Where or When'. This item has always been with the others so we think it is from the same period but there really is no information available. Condition is only Fair but one for the sixties purest collectors amongst you.
