Various Artists - Southside Screamers! Chicago Blues 1948-1958 - St. George
Another scarce title, especially in near pristine condition, is this lowdown compilation from the late George Paulus, a name known worldwide for his collection. It features Elijah Jones, Dixie Boy & His Harp, the Boll Weevil Trio, Uncle Percy, Little Hudson and Guitar Johnny. It's still in its factory shrink wrap and the condition is near flawless! Aside from a tiny ding on the top right corner, the covers (both front & back) are virtually spotless. No ring or shelf wear. Both labels are sharp & the vinyl is in beautiful shape as well.
All records are sold on an AS IS basis. No returns. I am not a record dealer, so I won't attempt to grade anything I list, as collectors often use different methods of grading. However, I will take note of any imperfections that are visible. I've been a private collector for years and am now listing many rare and hard-to-find blues records.
