Description

Mono    Decca LK4616

This is the ultimate VA album of the British Beat era with early recordings by artists that generally weren’t released elsewhere.  Musicians involved in these groups include Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker - later of Cream, Dick Heckstall Smith - later of Coliseum, Andy Summers - later of the Police, and possibly Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, as they were known to frequently play on Dave Berry’s recordings.

Grading would be about VG+ for the cover and Near Mint for the record but because grading differs from seller to seller, I prefer to list all details so bidders know exactly what to expect.  The attached photos are useful in seeing the cover and label conditions for yourself and I can e-mail higher resolution scans by request.  I also invite you to look at my feedback to see that other buyers have been satisfied.

Cover – Front has some small lamination wrinkles and both sides have some age discoloration.  Seams are intact with only wear on the corners.  No writing, sticker marks etc.

Record – I can’t see marks of any kind on either side even under bright light and the records plays like new without surface noise.  Silver on red labels are perfect except for some very light spindle marks.
