Description
Vanguard Bach-Guild BG 627/9 Sonatas & Partitas for Solo Violin with Joseph Szigeti. Original red-label mono pressings. Play-graded NM- overall. D-minor Partita has some light hairlines that tick occasionally in the first and second band. Otherwise only a very few light sleeve scuffs and tiny pressing bubbles to be found, and very quiet surfaces especially with mono playback. Labels clean with only the lightest spindle marks - looks like none of these discs was played more than a couple of times! Full gloss on vinyl. Not quite perfect discs but pretty darn close!
Box is a bit shabby. Spine is excellent with tight hinge but top is missing rear side. Top carefully glued to panel. Front graphic shows some signs of age but otherwise OK (see photos.)
