Vandals - Peace Thru Vandalism - Vinyl EP
This is the original release on the Epitaph Records label from 1982.
Album cover is in excellent condition with minor wear on the front and back and some damage on the spine.
- The genre is hardcore punk with a strong element of comedy / satire. The Vandals were known early on for injecting humor, irreverence, and absurdity into punk, rather than focusing solely on political or social critique. The lyrics are tongue-in-cheek, often absurdly specific, storytelling, local scene references. Examples: “Urban Struggle” about clashes in the music scene, “Pirate’s Life” about riding a pirate ride on LSD, “Anarchy Burger (Hold the Government)” which became an anthem.

I will ship via USPS Media Mail which is $5.22. I will combine shipping at my cost. eBay adds $1.50 for each additional album. I package items very securely using a box that costs me almost a dollar a pop.
I can’t test the record itself as I haven’t had a turntable in over 30 years. I have kept these upright and indoors (not in a garage, basement or storage unit) that whole time. I always held my albums correctly and used a Discwasher when I played them. (Read the feedback on albums I’ve just sold.) I finally decided it was time to sell all of these.
