Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Van Morrison - Moondance - RARE Original UK Vinyl LP album from 1970.
Original UK Warner Pressing.
Orange Labels
A1, B1 Matrix - First Pressing.
Vinyl Condition: VG (Nice condition and plays great. There are light surface marks, light paper scuffs and some light lines etc inkeeping with its age really but nothing major. The record plays great with nice sound. There is some light crackle in parts but no sticks or jumps. Overall some light surface marks bur really is in very nice condition for its age and plays very well. A real pleasure to listen to. Centre labels are in good shape. Some light spindle marks but no writing at all and are tidy).
Inner sleeve Condition: VG
Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Some edge and corner wear & creasing. Some corners are more worn than others but nothing horrendous. There is some rubbing to the front and back and some ring wear but again nothing major, just age related wear really. Some wear and yellowing to the spine but you can still make out the text. Overall for its age the sleeve is in good shape but does have age related wear).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
