Description

For sale is an EXTREMELY rare 1st pressing of Van Morrison's MOONDANCE lp, on the W7 Seven Arts Label (versus the more common Warner Brothers label). The gatefold cover is in gorgeous EX- condition, with a gatefold so tight I feared fully opening it would tear the spine (see photos above). The vinyl LP has been professionally cleaned and is in NM condition. The labels are VG+ due to Side One's having some markings which are clearly visible in the pics above. Side Two is near perfect

On this W7 pressing is featured a mix of 'Into The Mystic' in which Van Morrison can be heard playing tambourine.
This mix was apparently Van's preferred mix, but due to a clerical error, all subsequent pressings (except a much later audiophile pressing) use a rejected version omitting the tambourine.
