Up for sale is one(1) Van Halen - Self Titled Debut LP from 1978 on Warner Bros. Records (#BSK 3075). FIRST PRESSING. This is the misprint label version with the number 4 listed twice on Side 1 and has the Super Rare Black & White custom inner sleeve. There is No Barcode.
THIS IS THE SUPER RARE VERSION WITH THE BLACK & WHITE INNER SLEEVE and HAS THE LABEL MISPRINT WITH side 1 tracks being listed as 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5 instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME, ESPECIALLY CRANKED UP!
The Vinyl is in Good+ condition, but has some visual surface marks that will cause some surface noise typical with a Good+ grading. Even with a Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.
Nice fairly clean labels with some spindle marks.
The cover is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, crumples, scrapes, fade spots, and ring wear. There is some fraying at the side opening. This cover typically doesn't age well, but this one is in pretty good shape.
The custiom inner sleeve is in Good+ condition with wear typical with age including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, crumples, scrapes, and ring wear. The LP is now being housed in a separate plain white sleeve. There is a medium sized split seam on 2 sides.
I obtained this LP in the 1970s. It was gently played many times back in the day, but not played in over 30 years(until recently play tested). It has been in storage ever since.
