PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A PRETTY NICE COPY OF A TRUE FIRST PRESSING WITH THE "4'S MISPRINT" and THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER. THAT'S RIGHT! I SAID "HYPE STICKER"! THIS INCLUDES THE CRAZY RARE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER.
THE LP AND INNER SLEEVE ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH A FEW SMALL TEARS, CREASES AND A SMALL PIECE MISSING FROM THE UPPER LEFT CORNER. (please see pics)
THE COVER IS STILL IN THE SHRINK WRAP AND IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AS IT HAS BEEN PRESERVED IN PLASTIC LO THESE MANY YEARS.

Up for sale is one(1) Van Halen - Self Titled Debut LP from 1978 on Warner Bros. Records (#BSK 3075).THIS IS A TRUE FIRST PRESSING. This is the misprint label version with the number 4 listed twice on the Side 1 label. There is No Barcode.
THIS IS THE SUPER RARE FIRST PRESSING VERSION WITH THE LABEL MISPRINT WITH Side 1 tracks being listed as 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5 instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME! But you may hear surface noise typical with a Very Good grading.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age that may cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.
Nice, clean labels with some spindle marks.
The cover is still in the original shrink wrap and is in EXCELLENT condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, dings, creases, and ring wear, all of which are typical with an EXCELLENT grading. There are No Split Seams.
This cover typically doesn't age well, but this one is still in EXCELLENT shape as it has been preserved in plastic lo these many years.There a few tears in the shrink wrap that are typical with age. There is a small tear on the spine and a small tear on the bottom seam with a scrape on the bottom seam. The orginal price sticker is still attached to the front of the shrink wrap. (please see pics)
The custom inner sleeve is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, soft corners, creases, crumples, scrapes, peeling, fading, and ring wear, all of which are typical with a Very Good grading. There are no split seams. There is a small tear stemming from the side opening and a large crease going through Mike's picture on the inner sleeve. (please see pics)
The LP is now in a plain inner sleeve.
