Description
On offer here is a superb 1st pressing of Pawn Hearts by Van Der Graaf Generator, released on the Pink Charisma Label In 1971, catalogue number CAS 1051.
A landmark album in progressive music, it has the great A Plague Of Lighthouse Keepers taking up the whole of Side Two, together with Lemmings and Man Erg on Side One, totally brilliant and timeless stuff.
The unlaminated gatefold sleeve printed and made by the EJ Day Group is in Excellent condition, a slight sticker residue the only thing preventing a higher grading, please see the photos to satisfy yourself on this point.
The vinyl is in Excellent Plus condition.
The labels are bright and fresh and have the Manufactured and Distributed by B & C Records credit.
The matrix numbers are CAS 1051 A -1U and B - 1U.
Overall a fantastic copy of this great album which would grace any serious record collection, now getting hard to find a first pressing in anything like this condition without spending silly money.
The record will be sent outside of its cover in a polythene sleeve sandwiched between two 12” stiffeners in a heavy duty record mailer made by Covers 33 as used by Mail order record shops.
