WELCOME TO MY AUCTIONS! I am gradually selling off my record collection as I no longer have the room to store them. I will be selling off many rarities and unusual items, so please be sure to follow my auctions regularly. Outer sleeve: Gatefold sleeve printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. The sleeve is in very good condition and is generally very clean, no visible marks other than a slight mark from a sticker being removed (top left hand corner). There is no writing on the sleeve. There is moderate wear to the sleeve edges but no splits to the seams. The spine is relatively straight but has quite heavy wear (no splits).
Vinyl: visual inspection looks to be generally very good indeed but it does have a faintly visible scuff mark on track 1 side A and a fairly obvious scratch visible on side B across half of track 1. The record is on moderately thick vinyl, nice and solid with a lovely shine. I have always looked after my records and cleaned them, so rest assured it will not arrive covered in dust and fingerprints!
Inner sleeve: Plain white with a circular hole cut out centre. There is no printing on the sleeve whatsoever, I have absolutely no idea if it is the original sleeve or not. But it has a slight brownish tinge near the edges so is obviously quite old. There is no writing or graffiti on the sleeve, but does have creases to the corners. There is a split to the bottom seam.
Audio playback: This is obviously what matters most! Firstly, this record has been played in full and any audio defects will be honestly described below, to the best of my ability. I have graded this from my Pro-Ject Turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue Cartridge and listened to on top quality Sennheiser headphones. I believe this is the most critical way to listen to recordings as one is not distracted by extraneous ambient noises. Side 1: In general it plays very nicely throughout with the bare minimum of background static noise, no ticks or pops and no skips or jumps, the disc is nice and flat during playback (i.e. not warped!), the frequency response is excellent with a beautiful full tone of deep bass and crisp treble. The whole side in general plays with a grading of 'Excellent+'. Side 2: Unfortunately the aforementioned light scratch does cause repetitive ticks for the first half or so of track 1, which is a shame as the rest of the side plays as nicely as Side 1 throughout, with again the bare minimum of background static noise, no ticks, just an occasional audible light pop, and no skips or jumps, the disc is nice and flat during playback (i.e. not warped!), the frequency response is excellent with a beautiful full tone of deep bass and crisp treble. Without the ticks mentioned on track 1 the side would easily grade as 'Excellent' but sadly must be downgraded to 'Good' because of track 1.
Labels: Both labels have a 'rough textured' feel to them and are very clean with no writing, graffiti, sticker marks etc. Very nice condition.
Matrix: Some collectors attach great importance to these markings and I therefore will list all visible markings in full. Stamped markings will be listed in 'straight' letters (non-italic), and hand written markings in italic letters. CAS + 1007 + A CAS + 1007 + B
Poster: This record comes with the original poster which is in very good condition. It has been obviously folded to fit within the record sleeve but there is no writing or graffiti and it has not been pinned, blu-tacked or sellotaped to a wall. The 'seams' where it has been folded are excellent and there are no splits.

POSTAGE: Records will be removed from outer sleeves and placed into clear polythene sleeves for protection. Postage will be in proper cruciform record mailers for further protection. I will ONLY post records with Royal Mail Signed For postage, and this applies also to international postage. If an auction exceeds the standard insurance amount offered by Royal Mail then the FULL VALUE of the record will be insured at shipping and this will be invoiced to the winning buyer upon completion of the auction. If you do not agree to this, please do not bid.
