Visual grading:

Both sides have a nice sheen and quite a few light spindle marks. In normal light side 'A' grades as EX+ and side 'B'  as VG+. Side 'B' has a few light lines near the beginning of the side which are not noticeable to the touch.

Under strong halogen lights there are a few more lines visible on both sides.

Play grading:

On playing the record all the instruments & voices sound perfectly clear and I found no evidence of groove wear or distortion, also there are no sticks or jumps.

Both sides have a few quiet 'tics' in places and also a little short lived low background noise here and there with Side 'A' slightly better than side 'B'. Side 'A' has a few quiet 'clicks' at the start of track 5, Side 2 has quiet 'clicks' for 4 revolutions in track 3.

Side A play grades as EX.

Side B play grades as EX-.

The sleeve is very delicate and would grade as EX, but has a 4cm bottom edge split (from the opening).

Inner sleeve grades as EX-, has a little light creasing.

The insert with a short bio of the band and notes on each track is generally in excellent condition but has a little light creasing.

I do realise that this is very rare but please don't ask for a 'Buy It Now' price because I am going to let the auction run to it's conclusion. Thanks.

PLEASE E-MAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS, EXTRA IMAGES etc.

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT A RECORD IS BETWEEN GRADES.

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed

(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
