VTG Metal Case W/ 45+ CHILDREN'S Records- Cricket, Golden, Voco, Simon, Peter
Vintage Metal Carrying Case STUFFED with lots of great Children's records! Most from the 1950's.
I don’t know much about records…will do my best to describe condition. Please be sure to look at photos.
The metal carrying case is two tone...redish on the bottom and creamish in top. It does have areas of rush and places where the paint has been scratched off. The metal latch holds strong and the clear plastic is handle sturdy. At some point the box was either overfilled or maybe sat on?...because left side and the lid are bowed out some... inside are numbered dividers for the records, some tab edges bent...supposed to be up to #40. Some #'s are missing (1,9,10,36-39). Box measures approx: 4"x 7.5"x 7.5"
On to the records...as these are children's records and have been used and played by children over the years they are not perfect...expect scratches. I have not played any of them...have no idea if or how well they will play. Some of the center labels have been torn off or are partially gone...a few have handwritten names/notes or stickers. I only see one record with actual chips around the edges...
