Description
This is a very RARE edition of the AIDA opera by Guiseppe Verdi.
I believe the publication year is 1952, but it is not stamped on the box.
Reference materials to this exact version of this boxed set were not able to be loated, but I did find information about London's "ffrr True High Fidelity" recording in the early 1950s.
Also, I found that Renata Tebaldi had refused to do this show in America in1953 and was replaced.
This version was recorded live in in L'Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome Italy.
Aida was played by Renata Tebaldi.
Conductor was Alberto Erede.
Music was by Giuseppe Verdi.
This is an opera in four acts.
Recorded in its entirety on THREE 12" vinyl albums.
33 1/3 recording speed.
All the records look like they have never left their sleeves.
The sleeves are also in near mint condition.
Both original pamphlets are included and are in near mint condition.
Printed in USA, but as mentioned earlier, recorded in Rome Italy.
Box shows some storage, shelf wear along primarily along the right edge which is worn, especially on both right corners which are ripped (front).
