VORTEX "Metal Bats" 1985 mini-LP
Here is a rare mini-LP by Dutch heavy metallers VORTEX entitled "Metal Bats" and released & pressed by the band themselves in 1985. It's copyrighted Ice Cold Music. They were an interesting band especially because front-man Thundervox wore a creepy facepaint style that made him look corpse/dead-like, similar to early King Diamond face-paint minus an inverted cross. Their music is sort of in the vein of old Mercyful Fate, NWOBHM (mainly old Judas Priest), Heavy Load, Arrow, Future Tense, etc. This mini-LP contains what is what I consider to be the best Vortex song recorded, "With Witches' Help", with it's Mercyful Fate "Melissa"-era like atmosphere. Classic!!
The LP sleeve is in Very Good Condition. Bottom left corners shows a little wear, and top left corner has some creases.
The vinyl itself is in Excellent condition! Just some dust.
