Up for auction is a very nice first pressing of the Violent Femmes album Hallowed Ground, originally released in the U.S. on Slash Records (1-25094) in 1984:
-Guaranteed original pressing, NOT reissue -1-1/1-1 first pressing etched in deadwax -Original Slash labels -Not record club pressing -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile protective inner sleeve
Note: While the first Violent Femmes record gets the most attention, Hallowed Ground is, in my humble opinion, as good or better--much more atmospheric, sardonic, haunting, sophisticated.  I must-have for any serious collector. 

Condition: Cover is very nice, no significant signs of wear, no ring wear, no seam splits.  Just some faint rubbing to front and back, but not significant.  Corners look sharp, one bumped (see photo), tiny bit of rub.  Overall, still very attractive original. Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies
Vinyl is also very nice, still has its original glossy shine.  No apparent scratches or scuffs, but under a strong light a couple faint superficial hairlines show from taking the vinyl out of the paper inner sleeve a few times.  Labels are clean, no wear to spindle holes.  Looks like this record has maybe been played only once or twice previously but handled with care. Grade: Excellent (EX)
