Description
This is a vintage early pressing on the Capitol gray label by the incomparable Nat King Cole entitled " Love Is The Thing " (W824). This amazing album contains twelve (12) ballad standards (see track list on rear cover photo). This rare LP is deemed to be in overall COLLECTOR CONDITION.
CONDITION of VINYL: The very shiny vinyl is in splendid condition with few spindle marks indicative of some past use. A complete test play provided a flawless play back. We rate this vinyl's condition as a solid Excellent (EX+). The original Capital color inner sleeve with 3 edge slits is included as well as a new generic inner sleeve.
CONDITION of JACKET: The outer jacket (sleeve) is also in very nice clean condition with no seam splits or added writings. It s noted that there is some slight surface cracking on the spine where the name of album is printed and a pinch at bottom front corner. The cover would make splendid jacket to frame if one is so inclined. We rate this jacket condition as a solid Excellent Plus (EX+). A new ploy slip-on outer sleeve is included to help preserve this 61 year-old LP for future generations to enjoy!
The vinyl within the new generic inner sleeve will be separated from jacket during shipment to help guard against seam damage to the outer jacket (the original color Capitol inner sleeve also included will remain in the jacket)
