Description

The product is a vintage peelable banana cover featuring The Velvet Underground & Nico LP by Andy Warhol, released in 1986. This psychedelic rock album, pressed on a 12" vinyl record in Japan, is graded as Very Good (VG) in both record and sleeve condition. The plastic slipcover and original cover add to the collectible appeal of this sought-after piece for vinyl music enthusiasts looking to own a piece of rock history.


Very rare hard to find first pressing Velvet Underground and Nico produced by Andy Warhol, cover by Andy Warhol. Cover is in VG condition. Banana appears to be peeled and moved slightly see pictures, also some stains of aging. Inlay is pretty clean VG plus nice clean, black-and-white pictures. The vinyl is in VG condition. Light to moderate scratches does not affect play. Some popping sound throughout, there is a scuff on side too at the very end of the last song, can hear a ticking sound, but plays through.

I listened to both sides front and back. I feel like it meets the criteria of VG. It plays with some popping, and a tick sound through the scuff, but does not skip and plays through. It’s perfect for any Velvet Underground fan trying to get a piece of a iconic history.
