This is a vintage and rare jazz vinyl LP on the brown A&M Records label by jazz musician Nat Adderley entitled " Calling Out Loud ". This LP features eight (8) tracks and was arranged and conducted by Bill Fischer. It was recorded at Van Gelder Studios, Rudy Van Gelder, Engineer on November 19, 21 and December 4, 1968. The matrix/run-off on each side of the vinyl is stamped VAN GELDER. The inner gatefold is very clean with no cracks to the center seam.There are liner notes by Jon Borgzinner and Bill Fischer (from an arranger's point of view). CONDITION of VINYL: This heavy non-flex vinyl is very shiny with super clean labels does not show much, if any, signs of past play or handling. We have fully test played each side and received splendid playback all the way through. We rate the condtion of this vinyl as Near Mint (NM) under Goldmine guidelines. I comes with the original A&M inner sleeve that depicts 40 other A&M LPs (in color) of the day (a piece of tape has been added to bottom center of the inner sleeve).
CONDITION of JACKET: The outer jacket is of gatefold design (side loader). Th jacket covers (front and back) show ring wear from past storage primarily plus some scratching from handling on the "foil" of these outer covers. There are NO seam splits and the spine is legible. Some softening at the corners as well. We rate the overall condition of the outer jacket as Very Good (VG) to Very Good Plus (VG+). A new poly slip-on outer sleeve is included to help preserve this rare 49 year-old jazz LP for many years to come !
The vinyl within the inner sleeve will be separated from outer jacket. A heavy duty LP record mailer will be used with inserts and ample bubble wrap. Never a packing charge.
