Stokowski conducts The Stadium Symphony Orchestra Of New York
New & Sealed Audiophile Vinyl Record
Record Label: DCC LPZ 1003
Leopold Stokowsky's 1958 performance given the deluxe DCC audiophile treatment. This LP is a High Quality, 180 Gram, Pure Virgin Vinyl pressing. Mastered by Steve Hoffman with an all vacuum tube cutting system, the recording was taken from the original master tapes. Side one is cut from the original Three Channel master Tape. Side Two is cut from the original Three Channel 35mm Film.
Record is new and still sealed in it's original plastic sleeve. Perforation is completely intact. Corners are sharp, colors vibrant and spine is straight. There are no flaws or blemishes. 100% mint.
Review: This LP includes the only recording of the Cinderella. Most interesting to me is the Villa-Lobos tone poem, with it's exotic story and score to match. It is sensuous, mysterious and barbaric. Most interesting yet is the pathos of the "Modhina," marked by it's melancholy and by the intensity of the performance. ~ The Mystery Of Leopold Stowkowski
