Description
VICTORIA (Seven Little Indians TP 61471) Limited edition (#357 of 400 pressed) reissue of a rare private pressing LP from the late 60's- early 70's. Heavy 200 gram vinyl and a beautiful gold embossed red velvet cover are just the icing on the cake. The music ranges from gentle to full-blown rock complete with alternating male & female vocals, brass & psychedelic touches. Not much is know of this group's history but the leader was undoubtedly Greg Ruban who wrote, produced & arranged all the tunes. Other group members included Maureen Deidelbaum, Cheryl Simpson & Sharon Barton on vocals. Highlights are the brassy "Peace", the Santana-esque instrumental "Gevaro" & the 12:10 proto prog "Village of Etaf"- 8 tracks in all. Another great obscurity from Shadoks.
