Description

Johnny Dodds is joined by Natty Dominique, Honore Dutrey, Charlie Alexander, Bill Johnson and brother Baby Dodds on washboard on these July 1928 Chicago recordings. The titles are “Weary City” and “Bucktown Stomp.” A very nice copy. A few marks on “Weary,” but they don’t affect play beyond a handful of clicks (heard on the sample.) Overall, a solid EE+ or better.
