VICIOUS RUMORS – Soldiers of the Night (LIM.ORANGE V.*US METAL CLASSIC)

Hammerheart Records 2024 – Pre-Order 16.02.2024 -  Lim. Orange Vinyl – US Metal Classic !

Legendary US metal masterpiece finally available on 180 gram deluxe vinyl after almost 40 years!

We don't think there is a single word that could do this album justice other than perfection. And once you listen to this album, you immediately realize that it is “Vicious Rumors”. This is their style, their own genre and sound, their formula.

“Soldiers of the Night” is their flawless plan that they would always follow for the rest of their careers. There's enough speed here to put it in the speed/power metal genre, there's enough emotion and variety to put it in the progressive genre, there's enough technical skill here to put it under the umbrella of Shrapnel Records to land.

Everything that defines “Vicious Rumors” is set in stone here. The completely out of this world atmosphere runs through the entire album, sometimes even dark. The entire album is very consistent and there is no filler material. To top it all off, the production is phenomenal for the time and still has its edge.

Fans of classic heavy, speed, thrash, power, progressive, technically skilled metal will fall in love here immediately. “Soldiers of the Night”, a legendary cult masterpiece.
