About This Record.  This is a first pressing original UK MONO copy of The Velvet Underground & Nico LP released in a non-gatefold cover in the UK on Verve Records with the black label.  The matrix numbers match the original USA Verve catalogue numbers (V-5008) and end in -A2 on Side One, and -B2 on side two denoting what was a very early copy.  Maybe the first; I dunno if there was a -A1 and -B1 version.  Please see my other rare LPs for sale by The Velvet Underground, Mc5, Dragonwyck, July, The Edge and other cool bands.

Cover: .  Very Good (VG).  No seam or spine splits, but the original flapjack sleeve has some creases and a tear lower left. This was an alternate non-Gatefold cover compared to the USA gatefold with the stick on banana. Please see photos.
Inserts Has original UK white (now brown) plain paper inner See First Photo please.
Vinyl:  Very Good Plus (VG+).  There are 3 or 4 LIGHT marks on each side that don't affect play, play grade is close to EX for the most part, but remember this pressing had pressing flaws and was noisy.  The vinyl comes cleaned on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning machine and in a new Rice Paper equivalent sleeves.
Label Condition:  Labels are Near Mint (NM).  Please see my photos in case I missed something as I write.  
Shipping:  $4.00 USA shipping on however many records you purchase.  BUT PLEASE WAIT for my invoice and request one when you are done bidding.  eBay makes it very difficult to refund excess shipping if you pay for multiple items you want in the same package.  All my records come carefully packed after I clean them on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine and place them in a new rice-paper sleeve so they will be ready for you to play.
Vinyl Grading:  My grading [Cover/Vinyl]  F/G-/G/G+/VG-/VG/VG+/EX-/EX/EX+/NM/Sealed.  Records are visually graded unless otherwise indicated because some of these blues recordings, are by nature, not the best recordings and everybody has a different point of view about what a NM looking records plays like when the source are old recordings that themselves have crackle, etc.
