Description
About This Record. This is an original USA copy of Bo Diddley's first 7" 45rpm EP released on Chess Records in 1958, complete with original paper PS in nice shape, featuring "I'm a Man" "Bo Diddley" "Willie and Lillie" and "Bo Meets the Monster". Your chances of even seeing another one of these in your lifetime are slim and next to none, and this is close to a keeper copy for most folks, although it falls short of Excellent (EX). NICE PS and vinyl. Only a few copies of this have turned up in the past ten years. And YES, this 45rpm has been cleaned on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine in the special 45rpm adapter that I just bought (see my last photo) and See VERY detailed descriptions below.
See my other cool rare stuff for sale AND PLEASE CHECK my Feedback which will show you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who bought them think of them and our experience. The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels. I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and foreign buyers in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase.
Cover Condition: STRONG Very Good Plus (VG+) PS sleeve/cover. There is light ring wear and a three (3) inch seam split on the right of the front cover. Very very close to EX but I grade conservatively. No writing, no major damage. Extra hard to find.
Please see my photos! I did not take them for fun and frolic.
Vinyl Condition: STRONG Very Good Plus (VG+) vinyl. TOP keeper copy Just light background noise. NO skips, NO sticks, and nothing visual that would make you think there might even be one. Just light paper marks and a few light scuffs that don't affect play. Just a couple of light pops; No major problems like concentric clicks or loud pops; just a couple of minor pops here and there, but not many (pops).
Labels. Excellent Plus (EX+) labels (light spindle marks). Please see photos of all labels.
Inserts: Comes with original super rare original black and white "top loader" [the record comes out at the top, and not the right side) Picture sleeve as seen in my photos, but no worries, this comes cleaned in a new rice-paper type sleeve after cleaning (see below).
Packaging. I place the vinyl in a new sleeve after cleaning it on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
Shipping and Payment. PayPal only. I ship promptly worldwide; sometimes the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . . I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human..
