" INDESTRUCTIBLE "
ART BLAKLEY & THE JAZZ MESSENGERS
BLUE NOTE MONO BLP4193
Van Gelder
NEW YORK USA
USA SALES ONLY
This record is from my own collection. I have not listed very many records, other than sealed records, because of the grading system, I am not an expert on grading records as a collector, I do try to be conservative when I do so. I am thinning out my collection and I have two of these , so I am listing one, please check out my listings for some other Jazz titles. I do play bass and know a quality sound and I would say that this record sounds excellant , I have played it on both sides, it does have two very light scuff marks, no scratches , no static or popping noise, just a great sound. The inner sleeve is paper , 27 years Blue Note 1939 to 1966 and in very good plus condition . The outside jacket is also in very good plus condition , it does have a four inch tear in the top left corner and the back does have some light staining from age, please check out the pictures . On the deadwax part of the record it is marked on side one BN LP 4193A, Van Gelder and on side two BN LP 4193 B, Van Gelder .
A fantastic sound with Art Blakey - drums, Lee Morgan - trumpet, Curtis Fuller - trombone, Wayne Shorter - tener sax, Cedar Walton - piano and Reginald Workman - bass .
The record label is blue and white and marked Blue Note Records Inc. New York USA. The outside jacket is also marked Blue Note Printed in U.S.A.
Please check out the pictures and email me with any questions. I accept Paypal to be paid within three days of end of auction and I will ship within two days of cleared payment, Thanks for looking.
