VERY RARE Xanadu Promo 10" Picture Disc

Original 1980 U.S. Promotional Disc by MCA
It is believed that only 31 of these picture disc were manufactured by MCA before the idea was scrapped (see e.g. http://www.onlyolivia.com/music/singles/80s.html). It plays the Xanadu title track on both sides. This was MCA Catalogue Number MC10384. Please note that the pictures included in this listing are from a website but that the owner did bring it into our shop and it is absolutely in PERFECT MINT CONDITION, as graded by the California record company the owners obtained it from. It has never been played and has been well-stored. This picture disc is the holy grail of Olivia Newton John/ELO collectors, and this is a rare opportunity!!!

Note: I have added two pictures of the actual disc, which should appear as the smaller of the 4 pics on this listing. Inscribed into the vinyl on each side is "MC 10384" There is a small black spot about the size of a pencil tip to the left of Olivia's face that was produced during production of this disc rather than being a defect in the record from any handling or storage. This disc was obtained from Rockaway Records, the noted Los Angeles record dealer, who graded it "mint" at the time of sale.
