Description

VERY RARE! THE BEATLES “WHITE ALBUM “
ORIGINAL 1968 USA NUMBERED EDITION with 6 ERRORS!! LOW NUMBER: 0938931 Apple Records, 1968. Complete with poster and heavy stock photos of each band member.
Trail-Off Matrices: Side 1...SWBO-1-101-J59 #1 Side 2...SWBO-X2-101-J50 #2 Side 3...SWBO-3-101 A28 Side 4...SWBO-4-101-B29 There is a possibility that the previous owner did a mix n’match with the 2 LPs since the matrices are different and the Apple labels are also different from each other. The errors featured on this item as detected by the ever-so-alert John Lennon upon the album initial release are as follows:
Side1

  • "Bungalow Bill" instead of "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill"
  • l“Obladi Oblada” instead of “Ob-la-de Ob-la-da”
  • “Rocky Racoon” instead of “Rocky Raccoon” (Note: One “c” in “Raccoon “ instead of two)
  • “Revolution No. 1” instead of “Revolution 1”
  • “Revolution No. 2” instead of “Revolution 2”
  • “Goodnight” instead of “Good Night”

VERY GOOD-PLUS/EXCELLENT MINUS Cover!!! Solid with clearly defined limited number digits. No major flaws at all. Some minor evidence of beginning of splits in upper right side that cannot be noticed unless you are hunting for it.
MINT MINUS Heavy Card Stock Photos!!!
EXCELLENT Poster!!!
LP Disc One is in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD PLUS! Some superficial surface marks with occasional pops and hisses, but no skips.
LP Disc Two is in only FAIR condition at best and not at all recommended for playing.
If you are looking for playing enjoyment, please seek a better copy elsewhere. The value of this specific copy being sold here is in the low limited number and the actual evidence of errors on the labels.
And remember: When you buy from me, you are buying the VERY best!!!
