Description
This is an exceptional example of the very rare Capitol Beatles "4-By the Beatles (on record)/4 By 4 (on Sleeve)" 45rpm EP with picture sleeve. This single dates back to 1965, and was one of only two Capitol Beatles EPs ever produced. The EP did not sell quite as well as Capitol had hoped, and deleted it from it's catalog less than a year later. As such, this single is generally missing from most collections.
The sturdy cardboard sleeve grades a strong VG+. All the sides are in tact, and the top and bottom are exceptional, however the spine at one point was split and had to be repaired. There is a minute amount of unknown residue/dirt (more so on the front), but it is hardly noticeable unless closely inspected. A beautiful example, nonetheless.
Record is VG+, and has the occasional hairline scratch. Labels are beautiful, NM easy.
