Description

Check out my auctions this week for a bunch of rare rockabilly 45s! Here’s a very obscure and hard to find 45 by Terry Dunavan and the Earthquakes. The tunes are “Earthquake Boogie” and “Rock-It On Mars”. This is on the Fanfare label, number 727, from 1958. The “Earthquake” referenced in the title of the A-side comes in the form of what is quite possibly one of the most outrageous drum solos ever recorded. The vinyl grades VG++ with clean labels. However, it does play with a “lift” in the vinyl that tracks at a low 1.5 grams. Great lo-fi recording on an oddball label… sounds like it was recorded in somebody’s garage!
